Christine provides counselling therapy as a registered psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She provides trauma informed care, drawing from multiple approaches and theories. She utilises talk therapy interventions from CBT, ACT, EFIT, DBT and attachment based modalities, including M-MAT and IFS. Christine is currently taking new clients from age 10 upwards, and has a special interest in neurodiverse clients and their families.

I work with adults, adolescents and children to make peace with their story, address current stressors, and foster their strengths and vision for the future. I specifically love working with neurodiverse clients and their families, and I believe wholeheartedly that when we prioritize a deeper understanding of one another we can create a safe place for growth in emotional regulation skills which extends beyond the family.

I moved to Alberta from the UK in 2016 and retrained as a psychologist after many years of home educating my children and working as a musician, both performing and teaching. I practice with a trauma informed approach and combine interventions from multiple theoretical approaches including ACT, CBT, DBT and IFS.

I love working with clients to find solutions which allow them to thrive, and I do so through a trauma-informed approach, which emphasizes non-judgmental support and strengths-based approaches. I believe that we all have a unique story, and that meeting our inherent need to be heard and accepted is an important step in finding peace.

I offer Christian faith based counselling upon client request.
